Pankaj Singh, DDSOral Surgeon
As a practicing dental and oral surgeon, published author, and academic researcher, professor and lecturer, Dr. Pankaj Singh is passionately dedicated to improving the lives of his patients. As a clinician, Dr. Singh is also committed to serving the professional community through research and innovations that are pushing the fields of:

- Dental Sleep Medicine
Dr. Singh received his Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY at Stony Brook and Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his residency in Dental and Oral Surgery where he served as chief resident and fellowship in Oral and Dental Implantology at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in NYC. His postgraduate studies in anesthesia were completed at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Montefiore Hospital Medical Center, New York City.
Recognized as an authority in the field, Dr. Singh lectures nationally and internationally and is one of less than 100 dentists worldwide who are diplomats of both The International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, where he also served as board examiner. He has held faculty and attending faculty positions at institutions such as:
- Lenox Hill Hospital and North Shore University Hospital — Department of Otolaryngology, Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Head & Neck Surgery
- NYU College of Dentistry
- American Academy of Implant Dentistry — Postgraduate Implant Program.
Dr. Singh currently serves as faculty at Foundation for Surgical Excellence, a nonprofit teaching and research foundation and is an expert faculty at The New York Head and Neck Institute and faculty at The Center for Facial Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital and the Northwell Health System.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and currently serves as an editor of the Academy’s Research Publication Journal of Oral Implantology. He is also an editor of the journal ACTA Scientific Neurology and serves on the board or several other publications including the world’s largest circulating monthly dental newsletter Dental and Implant Tribune.
Nargiz Schmidt, DDSProsthodontist
Dr. Schmidt specializes in reconstructive, aesthetic and implant dentistry utilizing the latest, cutting-edge technologies and innovative, pain-free I.V. sedation. Her expert technique and discerning eye enables her to perform life-changing smile transformations for an ever-growing number of highly satisfied patients.
A lecturer and seminar leader in Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr. Schmidt has engaged both dentists and post-graduate dental students throughout the US, Europe and the Middle East. She is the author of the book “Fearless Smile: Overcoming Dental Phobia” and holds professional memberships within the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Prosthodontics, the Northeastern Society of Prosthodontics and the International College of Oral Implantology (ICOI).
Dr. Schmidt received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Stony Brook School of Medicine and Dentistry with multiple awards in clinical pharmacology, biochemistry, clinical general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics and oral surgery. Her continuing education work has achieved a Postdoctoral Degree/Certificate in Prosthodontics as well as certificates in Laser Surgery and Cerec CAD-CAM Technology.
Hankyu Cho, DDS MSPeriodontist
Dr. Cho specializes in both the treatment of gum disease and in dental implant surgery. His extensive training includes periodontal bone regeneration, bone and soft tissue grafting, the placement of dental implants and the aesthetics of dental implant restorations.
Dr. Cho began preparing for his career with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He then went on to complete a 3-year Master of Science specialty program at Columbia that not only included the treatment of gum disease, but provided comprehensive training on the treatment planning for dental implant procedures (including both implant placement and bone regeneration).
A proponent of the benefits of Stem Cell research, Dr. Cho has been published by the Connective Tissue Research Journal and performed research on pulpal stem cell regeneration. He has also volunteered for numerous community dentistry and oral health screening programs, as well as traveling to Guatemala to bring free dental care to those in need.
